All projects are free at the point of delivery and open to all ages from 16 years old. Some projects span multiple boroughs; some are situated in Kettering only but are open to clients from other boroughs.

Housing Advice Project –in Kettering Town Centre, residents of other boroughs can access this but must travel to the drop-in unit for advice. This is independent, quality marked Housing Advice dealing with a wide range of complex housing issues such as homelessness, young person’s housing rights, repairs, illegal evictions and much more. The Housing Advice Project also delivers court assistance, mediation, advocacy, welfare benefit advice, and debt advice.

Wellbeing / Preventative Outreach Project  – This is Holistic Advice and Support, delivered in Kettering and Corby, it comprises assistance to find work, education, and training, enter volunteering, to reduce harmful habits and focus on wellbeing by increasing physical and social activities, it assists individuals to sustain their tenancies and stabilise their lives.

Laura Project – this is Holistic Advice and Support delivered in Kettering and Corby to encourage volunteering, deliver accredited training, maximise income, minimise debt, access healthcare, assistance with benefits, debt, mediation and advocacy and increase life skills.

As part of this project, we deliver accredited Life Skills Training for (predominantly) Young People (aged 16-25).

Pioneer Project (Kettering only) – supported housing project for single homeless people, building skills, preparing for independent living. Although this project caters for all ages, we have, so far, supported predominantly young people.

#SCRAN project (Kettering only) this is a food redistribution project for those in food poverty.

Craft Your Way To Confidence Project this Kettering based project encourages people to learn new skills in order to increase confidence and reduce social isolation.

Literacy Project – to teach pre-entry level literacy and numeracy in the borough of Kettering, but persons from outside the borough can attend if they wish to.

Building Better Opportunities Project (1) – to assist people in need to gain employment, education and training in Northampton and South Northants and Corby.

Building Better Opportunities Project (2) – to assist people in need, to gain employment, education and training in Kettering.

Accommodation Concern has 30 years of experience in dealing with local people in need of advice and support, often at times of transition and crisis in their lives.
