Accommodation Concern awarded £400,016 from The National Lottery Community Fund

Accommodation Concern is delighted to announce that it has been awarded £400,016 over four years from The National Lottery Community Fund.

The funding will support the delivery of Northants Thrive, a new project focused on preventing homelessness, reducing poverty, and strengthening financial resilience for people facing the greatest disadvantage. The project will launch in early July 2026.

Northants Thrive will provide long-term, community-based support in neighbourhoods where residents are least connected to services and most at risk of financial crisis. The project will support 400 residents each year, reaching 1,600 people over four years.

In addition to direct support, the project will work with community champions in years 3 and 4. These champions will be trained and supported by AC advisors, helping to build stronger local networks and ensuring support continues beyond the life of the funding.

Once a referral has been received, the individual will be triaged to identify the level of priority, the most appropriate route of support and the advisor best placed to assist. This will be completed in line with Accommodation Concern’s usual service level agreement, which is normally within 48 hours.
