Homelessness services
Choose the council for the area where you are staying or where you have a local connection. Tell them clearly if you have nowhere safe to sleep tonight.
Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough and East Northamptonshire
Housing Options and emergency out-of-hours:
The same number provides the emergency out-of-hours service. Emergency accommodation depends on the council's assessment of your circumstances.
Northampton, Daventry and South Northamptonshire
Housing Options and emergency out-of-hours:
Call 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. If you have nowhere to stay tonight after 5pm, use the same number for the out-of-hours service.

Safety and wellbeing
Call 111 and select the mental health option to reach local support. Northamptonshire Healthcare's Mental Health Number is also available 24 hours a day on 0800 448 0828.
If someone is in immediate danger or has life-threatening injuries, call 999.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999. The free National Domestic Abuse Helpline is available 24 hours a day on 0808 2000 247.
You can alert the local council through StreetLink. If there is an immediate risk to life, call 999 instead.
Samaritans are available free, day or night, on 116 123. They listen without judgement or pressure.
Food, fuel or essential items
If you have no food, no gas or electricity, or cannot afford essential items, see our emergency support routes. Available help depends on your circumstances, eligibility and current funding.
