If debt is the main issue, stay on this tool. If housing or benefits are the main issue, use the housing and benefits referral. If there are several issues, start with the most urgent one and tell us about the rest.
How to use this tool
Prepare for regulated debt advice
Accommodation Concern provides free, confidential debt advice from qualified advisers. This online tool helps gather information before advice starts, so your appointment can focus on the right issues sooner.
The tool itself does not make recommendations or confirm eligibility for a debt solution. If you complete the income and expenditure section, the figures are converted into a monthly summary using the frequency you select. A qualified debt adviser will still need to check the full details with you before giving advice.
If you do not want to complete the income and expenditure section, choose the basic referral route. That route collects contact details, urgent issues and the types of debt involved, but it will not show debt solution information.
