AC Annual General Meeting 2026

Celebrating 40 years of practical support, human connection and lasting change.

Annual General Meeting

This year's Annual General Meeting will be a particularly special occasion as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Accommodation Concern's story.

Our roots began with LEAP in 1986, before the organisation became Accommodation Concern in 1987. Whichever date you count as the beginning, this AGM gives us an opportunity to recognise four decades of supporting people through homelessness, financial hardship and some of the most difficult moments in their lives.

It has also been a significant year of growth and change for Accommodation Concern. We have expanded our organisation, developed new areas of work and completed a number of ambitious projects.

Four decades of practical support, human connection and lasting change.

Looking back

From LEAP to Accommodation Concern.

AC's story has always been about local people deciding that practical help matters. The work has changed shape over time, but the purpose has remained steady: prevent homelessness, reduce hardship and help people find a more secure footing.

This AGM will bring together voices from across our past and present, including former and current staff, our team and some of the people who have used our services.
