Accommodation Concern is celebrating after being named a finalist in two categories at the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
The Northampton Chronicle reported that AC has been shortlisted for Charity of the Year and the Workplace Wellbeing Award. It is a lovely piece of recognition for two things that matter deeply to us: the difference our services make for local people, and the care we put into supporting the team who do that work.
In financial year 2025/26, AC supported 3,728 clients across 6,844 cases and secured £7,607,864 in financial gains. Our supported accommodation service provided 24,753 nights of accommodation across 92 beds in 23 houses. The article also highlights that more than 95% of people who moved into independent accommodation sustained their tenancy.
The winners are due to be announced at the awards ceremony on 11 September 2026.
