A year of rapid growth, stronger outreach and record financial gains for Northamptonshire residents.

In 2024, AC grew in both size and impact, expanding supported accommodation, outreach and specialist advice while helping bring significant financial gains back to local people.

The year saw rapid growth in supported accommodation, with homes and beds increasing so more people could access a safe place to stay alongside practical support.

AC also extended its reach through floating and community-based work, meeting people in town centres, rural community spaces and, where appropriate, in their homes. This made tenancy support, benefits advice and budgeting support easier to access for people who may not otherwise connect with services.

Financial gains reached more than £3.5 million in 2024. This included successful benefit work, charity applications, supermarket and energy vouchers, debt reduction and debt write-off work, and support with income maximisation.

The year also brought external recognition, including the Weston Charity Awards, the Rose of Northamptonshire Award, North Northamptonshire Business of the Year, and the Community Impact Award from the Wellingborough and East Northants Chamber of Commerce.
