Like all charities we have had to adapt the way we work and despite restrictions being lifted we have decided to continue some of the ways of operating.
We will continue to ask you to wash your hands or hand sanitise when accessing our offices, although we are happy for masks to be removed once in a consulting room. All of our consulting rooms have been fitted with air purifiers that will keep the air clean and safe for us all.
We will continue to book appointments for people to attend, however if you have an emergency we can often see you the same day – please call first to check we have space so you are not disappointed and have a wasted journey.
If you call us and we are busy with another client, please leave a message and we will call you back. We aim to respond to your message the same day.
We have decided to continue to provide support via phone, FaceTime, Zoom WhatsApp video call for people who find this method useful.
We are still able to support with eviction paperwork, benefit issues, PIP claims etc. please phone or email us.
We are open and able to support you with money or debt issues please phone or email us.
Our drop-in sessions are no longer running but you can get advice about your housing, benefit and debt issues on 01536 416560. We are providing face to face appointments where there is no other viable option.
Food parcels are still available for collection please phone us to request one.
The rough sleeper Outreach workers have transferred to the council but are still out and about trying to engage with those who are rough sleeping. If you see a person sleeping in the streets around Kettering, please contact them on 0300 126 3000.
Our Supported Accommodation currently has a few vacancies. If you would like to know more or make a referral, please contact us.
We are always looking for more properties to grow this scheme, if you are a landlord with a property to rent and want to make a difference to your local community we would love to chat more to you about the package we can offer you.
Like all charities we are in need of funds to help us continue with our work to support and feed those most in need at this time.
If you are in need and you think we may be able to help please contact us.
We would also like to give our thanks to Lloyds Bank Foundation, Neighbourly, Skipton and Northamptonshire Community Foundation and many of the public for providing us with emergency funds to respond to some of the demands made on us to continue to support vulnerable people locally through the recent COVID19 pandemic.
Thank you to the following...
